Galveston Bay Buzz!

Hello Bay Area, Houston! Just like that, the 2025 chapter has closed, and 2026 is already flipping pages like a speed reader. It’s hard to believe that 2030 is less than five years away. I have some big news, and my husband doesn’t know this yet, but he will find out when he reads this newsletter. I have decided when I grow up, I’m moving to Clear Lake Shores. It’s like the perfect never-ending vacation spot. Give me a golf cart, a strong cold brew coffee, some music from the 1900s, and I’ll happily drive around the island all day. What a life! Clear Lake Shores is the cutest little community with a strong sense of island living. Golf carts are the primary mode of transportation, which perfectly matches the laid-back pace of island life. On your next island visit, enjoy a meal at Galveston Bay Brewing and then stop by The Junkyard Pearl Boutique, a hidden gem. Trust me—you won’t be disappointed. |

Kemah, Seabrook and Clear Lake Shores Spotlight
Kemah Community Spotlight: This week, we’re proud to spotlight Kemah Police Cadet Jordan Wilmore, known for his towering height of 7’3” and recognized as America’s tallest police recruit. In a CBS interview, Jordan shared that despite his height, he chose policing over basketball because he has always enjoyed helping others. Chief Raymond Garivey also highlighted in the interview that Jordan wants to serve and wants to make a difference.
We are honored that Jordan has chosen Kemah as the place to serve. Last week, Kemah welcomed a very special guest—Shaquille O’Neal—who came to show his support as Jordan pursues his goal of graduating from the police academy. Shaq will be financially sponsoring Jordan through the academy. Jordan, we’re right here cheering you on every step of the way!
When Shaq buys the ride, suggest a Blacked-Out Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat with a MBRP Race Cat-Back Exhaust and Flame Thrower Kit.
