Hello Friends!
How are y’all surviving out there? I’m barely making it and dealing with the worst allergies ever! I feel like I’ve been slapped upside the head and tossed through an old-school wringer washer. My husband went to urgent care, and everything came back negative, including his attitude. They said it’s just allergies. I’m just hoping both the allergies and the negative attitude disappear soon.
On top of dealing with a bad case of allergies, I’ve been stressing about my vacation in two weeks and hoping I pack everything I need for the trip. I’m heading to Greece and taking y’all along whether you like it or not, so get ready for an adventure of a lifetime. We’ll start with a few days in Athens and then head off to explore the islands of Santorini and Mykonos.
I’m most excited about the unlimited feta and olives while soaking up the sunshine on the beach without a care in the world. The only thing stressing me out is packing everything into a carry-on and a small backpack. I have no idea how I’m going to fit everything, but we’ll see how this goes. If you see my pictures and I’m wearing the same outfit every day, just don’t judge because I’ll have everything else anyone could possibly need packed in my bags.

Clear Lake and Beyond Developments
New businesses are popping up all over the area—some already open and others opening soon that you won’t want to miss!
Party City opened a new location inside the Staples at 19335 Gulf Freeway in Webster. They have everything from balloons and themed party supplies to seasonal décor. It’s a great place to stop by when planning your next party.
Power Fit TX has opened in Friendswood, serving up fresh, ready-to-go meals focused on convenience and nutrition. It’s a great option for busy families or anyone looking for healthier, grab-and-go choices. They also offer personal training, so if you’re looking to eat better and stay active, be sure to check them out.
Life is all about balance, so on your cheat days, you can visit The Peach Cobbler Factory! They’re coming to Webster with an expected opening at the end of May. I recently visited one in Louisiana, and the moment I walked in, the smell of warm peach cobbler completely took over. I even told the employee that if I owned one, I’d want it to smell exactly like that shop.
The Peach Cobbler Factory is a dessert spot known for its warm cobblers, banana pudding, cinnamon rolls, and other indulgent treats, and it’s expected to quickly become a go-to for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Coffee lovers can look forward to Haraz Coffee House, a new spot bringing a unique coffee experience rooted in Yemeni culture. Known for its rich, bold flavors and beautifully crafted drinks, it offers something a little different from your typical coffee shop—along with a cozy space to gather, work, or unwind. We’ll be able to check it out the new coffee shop mid-summer at 19403 Gulf Freeway, Ste. 100 in Webster.
We will soon have more healthy options, specialty coffee, and desserts in our neighborhoods. Stay Local. Stay Connected.
